About The Role
Talbots is looking for a Digital Art Director for a full-time role at our corporate headquarters in Hingham, MA. This is a great opportunity to join a team of passionate professionals who use their diverse talents to create success every day for one of the best brands in the country.
The Digital Art Director is responsible for conceptual development and the execution of creative deliverables. Reporting to the Senior Art Director, the Digital Art Director will collaborate with merchandising, marketing, copywriters, web developers, and production specialists. Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills, this person will demonstrate an ability to justify concepts to the Internal and Leadership teams.

Design creative for the website, emails, and online marketing
Collaborate with the team to develop ideas from concept to execution
Brainstorm big ideas in a group setting and express your point of view
Make fast adjustments to designs based on data, strategy updates, and feedback
Juggle multiple projects and deadlines
Communicate effectively with partnering teams regarding project status and updates
Maintain relevancy in the field by monitoring digital/design trends & competitors
You'll bring to the role
5+ years of digital design experience
Experience with omni retail brands
Passionate about graphic design, typography, and storytelling
Expert in Adobe CC, primarily InDesign (Photoshop & Illustrator are a plus)
Experience in responsive website design
Understanding of promotional strategy and hierarchy based on business needs
Creative problem solver and team player, ready to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight schedules and deadlines
Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Has excellent design presentation and persuasion skills
Has an online portfolio to share
Bonus Points
BA in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Fine Arts or a related field
Video/Motion Graphics experience
Print design experience
Retail/fashion branding experience
Office 365, MS Teams for project and internal communication
