Weekend Training Lead

About the role
This is a training lead position that will have an important role in the overall success of the new hire and existing associate experience by modeling and guiding a highly effective and specific learning experience toward high employee performance (EP) and utilization and efficiency of the Fulfillment Center and will also perform the primary duties and responsibilities of an associate in the respective area(s) where assigned.

- Coordinate training plans for new associates.
- Track EP and provide guidance according to the new hire progression plan for new associates.
- Train and develop associates in department function, procedures, and policies.
- Act as a resource for associate questions and assist with resolution of workflow problems and issues.
- Reporting of various aspects of area functions utilizing the following systems and programs – PkMS, Microsoft Outlook including Excel, Word, and Email.
- Assist in monitoring the workflow for designated areas. This involves communication and coordination with department supervisor/manager.
- Support teambuilding at all levels within the FC.
- Required to be familiar with and perform all functions as assigned in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while maintaining high EP and utilization rates.
- Perform ongoing standard work audits (Observations) with new and existing associates to ensure adherence to SOPs, work rules, as well as HR and Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment necessary to successfully perform duties is available and in proper working order at the start and throughout all job assignments.
- Assist other members of the FC team, in any way possible, as determined by FC management and supervisors

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Must have excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to handle a diverse workload with multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated initiative, self-discipline and patience in teaching.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Demonstrate competency in using various training methods including technology-based processes.
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Maintain professional and positive composure when challenged and during times of heavy training requirements.
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment and changes in procedures and SOPs.
- Proactively approaches problems, providing solutions to issues.
- Attention to detail. Focus and remain on task in a fast paced environment.
- Maintain individual productivity, utilization, and quality standards.
- Actively support team concepts and ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate with team members
