TheMerchandise Planning & AllocationIntern will rotate betweentheallocation& merchandise planningteams toassist the planning department in managing inventory and markdown strategies to drive departmental sales, inventory, profit, and turnover objectives. The intern willexecute allocation strategies by floor set to support store allocation needsandassist in pulling size selling analysis to help develop the breakdown of purchases by size for the Direct and Retail Store channels.

InternshipQualifications

  • A love of numbers, data, and analytics 

  • Experience working in Excel (Pivot Tables, V Lookups) 

  • Strong problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must

Program Details

TheKnitWellGroup Summer Internship Program welcomestheclassesof 2026and 2027college students to work with several of our brands (Ann Taylor,Haven Well Within,LOFT, Talbots)and Corporate Shared Servicesto kick-start their career in retail. This immersive experience offers interns the opportunity to work hands-onwith their department for 10-weeksand receive professional development opportunities including executive chats, professional workshops,and a store visit

The pay rate for the position is $20.00/hr. 

This internship position will be based out of ourTalbotsoffice location inHingham, MA. Interns are expected to report to the office Monday through Thursday and may have the ability to work from home on Fridays depending on business needs. 

KnitWellGroup does not offer housing near any of our corporate office locations. Participating students must have the ability to independently secure and finance housingina commutable distance of the office location.  

Applicants to this position mustbe authorized towork for any employer in the US without sponsorshipnow or in the future. We are not providing sponsorship for this position.

  • Master’s students not eligible
