KnitWellGroup – 2026Summer Internship Program

Talbots Design Intern: Dresses/Skirts & Accessories/Footwear

This position is responsible for assisting both Design teams in the creation of a fully concepted line for the designated end user.Prepares presentation boards highlighting fabric, flats, and figure sketches.Assistsinsetup ofallconcept presentations,execution of tech packs, both flat and technical sketches, pitchsheetsand trim sheets.

InternshipQualifications

  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Good timemanagement and attention to detail

  • An eye for trend, color, print and pattern

Program Details

TheKnitWellGroup Summer Internship Program welcomestheclassesof 2026and 2027college students to work with several of our brands (Ann Taylor,Haven Well Within,LOFT, Talbots)and Corporate Shared Servicesto kick-start their career in retail. This immersive experience offers interns the opportunity to work hands-onwith their department for10-weeksand receive professional development opportunities including executive chats, professional workshops, store visits, etc., and participation in a collaborative team project.

The pay rate for the position is $20.00/hr. 

This internship position will be based out of ourTalbotsDesignoffice location inNew York, NY.

KnitWellGroup does not offer housing near any of our corporate office locations. Participating students must have the ability to independently secure and finance housingina commutable distance of the office location.

  • Master’s students not eligible
