Talbots Design Intern: Haven Well Within

This position is responsible for assisting the Design team in the creation of a fully concepted line for the designated end user.  Prepares presentation boards highlighting fabric, flats, and figure sketches.Assistsin setup ofall concept presentations, execution of tech packs, both flat and technical sketches, pitchsheetsand trim sheets.

Internship Qualifications

• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Good timemanagement and attention to detail

• An eye for trend, color, print and pattern   

Program Details

The KnitWell Group Summer Internship Program welcomes the classes of 2026 and 2027 college students to work with several of our brands (Ann Taylor, Haven Well Within, LOFT, Talbots) and Corporate Shared Services to kick-start their career in retail. This immersive experience offers interns the opportunity to work hands-on with their department for 10-weeks and receive professional development opportunities including executive chats, professional workshops, store visits, etc., and participation in a collaborative team project.

The pay rate for the position is $20.00/hr. 

This internship position will be based out of our Talbots Design office location in New York, NY.

KnitWell Group does not offer housing near any of our corporate office locations. Participating students must have the ability to independently secure and finance housingina commutable distance of the office location.

• Junior or senior (Class of 2026 and 2027)

• Master’s students not eligible

• Resume and portfolio (portfolios only needed for Design Applications)

• Available June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
