We are seeking a motivatedCommerce Platform Internto join our e-commerce technology team. This role offers hands-on experience in building scalable front-end and backend systems, as well as cloud-native applications. You will work with modern technologies such asReact.js,Java (Spring Boot),Node.js,TypeScript,Vercel, andGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP), contributing to real-world projects thatimpactour customers.

  • Develop andmaintainbackend services usingJava (Spring Boot),Node.js, andGraphQL.

  • Build andoptimizefront-end applications usingReact.jsand deploy them onVercelfor high-performance delivery.

  • Assistin designing and implementingRESTful APIsand microservices.

  • Support data synchronization and integration with third-party systems.

  • Collaborate with engineers to deploy andoptimizeapplications onGoogle Cloud Platform.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Internship Qualifications

  • Major in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

  • Preferred withJava,JavaScript/TypeScript,React.js,REST APIs, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).

  • Willingnessto relocate toFort Myers, Floridafor the duration of the program (10weeks).

  • Real-world experience infront-end and backend development for e-commerce.

  • Exposure tocloud computing,serverless deployments, and modern development practices.

  • Mentorship from experienced engineers and opportunities to contribute to live projects.

Program Details

TheKnitWellGroup Summer Internship Program welcomestheclassesof 2026and 2027college students to work with several of our brands (Ann Taylor,Haven Well Within,LOFT, Talbots)and Corporate Shared Servicesto kick-start their career in retail. This immersive experience offers interns the opportunity to work hands-onwith their department for10-weeksand receive professional development opportunities including executive chats, professional workshops, store visits, etc., and participation in a collaborative team project.  

The pay rate for the position is $20.00/hr. 

This internship position will be based out of ourChico’s HeadquartersofficelocationinFort Myers,FL. 

KnitWellGroup does not offer housing near any of our corporate office locations. Participating students must have the ability to independently secure and finance housingina commutable distance of the office location.
