Preparing for an interview

Reflect on the Job Opportunity

How does this position align to my skills and goals?

How will my skills help me in this position?

How have I added value in my previous roles?

What specific examples can I share?

Prepare Your Answers

Prepare a few stories that illustrate how your unique skills and experiences make you a great match for the role you've applied for.

Identify any key numbers or details that you can use to communicate your impact in previous roles.

Ask Questions

Prepare thoughtful questions about the position, team, or anything else you are genuinely curious about.

Use the interview to see if the position and brand are a fit for you.

Make A Plan

For on-site interviews, look up your route ahead of time (including parking).

Know how long it should take you to get there and add extra time for potential delays.

For virtual interviews, prepare your environment so the call is quiet and free of distractions. Make sure you are well-lit and your background is not distracting.

Make Your Best Impression

We embrace a polished business casual dress code. Bring your best professional self.

Give yourself a little extra time to arrive on-site or login early to the virtual call so you can get settled before the interview.

Test Your Technology

Some interviews are conducted virtually.

To set yourself up for success, we suggest downloading Microsoft Teams and testing your video & audio ahead of your virtual interview.

Make sure your WiFi connection is working as expected.
